Control pedal for CS-50?

Hi!
I do not have a control pedal for my CS-50 and I am under the impression that a standard pedal like a
Roland EV-5 does not work on a CS machine.
Am I correct? If so, does anyone know of a standard pedal that will work or what kind of mod must be
done on a EV-5 to work?
