Definitely an interesting one - it's had the power supply moved to
separate (tool) box to reduce internal heat / help tuning.  I'd love
to see the inside of this thing!  

Is the seller someone on this list?  If someone from Southern
California picks this up, let me know - I'd like to check it out. If
anyone knows more about this or who did the mods, let us all know!

The Red Box also houses hard candy, mints  and assortied goodies 
from what I hear. And It has long been rumored that Vangelis was asked about 
  whether the mystery "red box" helped come up with some of his ideas?
  To which he swore in french and called the Red Box "A big fat liar ...*&%%%!!!..."
  ( I believe that part was 'mostly in english') Yet the mystery Red box has been silent 
  throughout the years...rumored to have escaped to Michigan to live a quiet
  life in seclusion...

it looks like its already snatched up. there was a buy-it-now of 7500 when it first went up. 

per kent spong, this PSU mod apparently does nothing to aid stability. i asked about doing this last year, and he said he had done it for clients and saw no change, but i guess it wouldnt be a huge DETRIMENT for the buyer. another lucky 80 owners out there....
