City Skies 08 Electronic Music Festival, May 2 & 3, 2008

I'm planning to get my CS-50 out on stage for this one: City Skies 08 Electronic Music Festival will be held in the Atlanta area on May 2-3, 2008. The list of performers includes some of the best improvisational electronic musicians from around the U.S. heard on radio stations like Music From the Hearts of Space, Echoes, Star's End, Soma FM, StillStream, and are from Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, New York/New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, and Wisconsin. Musical styles will range from ambient to downtempo chillout to Berlin school to electropop to space rock to experimental. All music will be performed, this is NOT a DJ event. We have chosen Kavarna in Decatur, GA (minutes away from Atlanta) for the concert venue. Kavarna gives us a perfect vibe for our inaugural event, with great sound and a nice selection of food and beverage for festival attendees. Kavarna is a non-smoking and all-ages venue. Real electronic music performed live by humans!
