preset selector bulb/gasket replacement on cs80

preset selector bulb/gasket replacement on cs80

2008-02-04 by rj krohn

hi folks, im wondering if any of you have ever replaced the little rubber gasket/bulb that lights up the preset buttons. my cs80 came with one missing, and if this were anything less rare/valuable,i would probably just start trying things, but i dont even want to risk a short of any kind.

any ideas? is it a 14v bulb? polarity? thanks alot, guys. im one light and one IG00152 away from a 100% working cs80...

sorry to resurrect this old thread; just wondering if anyone has any leads on those rubber gaskets that hold the bulbs. should i just forge ahead with trying to fashion one from an eraser or something, or is there a supply of these somewhere? thanks for any tips one way or the other, folks.
