Next question:

I have tuned voices 1 ... 7 in section I for 0 Cent at middle C, in 8"
footage. (I ignore voice 8 for now.)
I notice that the adjacent C#, as well as the C one octave higher, are more
than 10 cent off.
Same (but opposite direction) when I go down one octave.

As this is consistent for voices 1...7, and happens in *steps*, I conclude
that there is an adjustment off on the KAS board - right?

Bingo!

Offset adjustment of Voltage follower (VR3 KAS board) was slighly off.
Adjusted it, and that nasty step between C and C# is gone!

Check the DAC span and zero on KAS.
