un-returned service manual - help anyone?

Well, this sucks! Does anyone know Thorsten or anything else about
this? I'd like to see this situation fixed.

Thanks,

David

Re: [yamahacs80] un-returned service manual - help anyone?

2007-02-02 by james devero

Thorsten said he sent it to me....unfortunately in was
in Oct of 06....and I had moved in May of 06.

You know.....He had decided to apparently ship the
manual
when he was back in the US in the fall of 06.
The USPS policy on forwarding mail is that if it isn't
First or 2nd Class...They do not transfer it.

But the paypal was sent.... I didn't recognize it
and it was buried in my Ebay accounts paypals..
a little before this.

So...cannot say that Thorsten was wrong.
I think that he may have done a much better job
of communicating....Got on it right away?.....We ll
perhaps
not
However...it should be stated that he sent me an email
since
with efforts to try and work it out.
I for one...have accepted his apologies, offered my
own
and I will try to get one for me and for Max.

The whole mail thing....
Does this mean that the package "doesn 't get
sent back to the shipper also?"...If so....then its
very strange.

But Sending love here....I don't think Thorsten should
be criticized....I trust he wasn't trying to not make
good on his promise...it just took longer and the
lack of communication sort of compromised our
understanding.

Thanks you guys~J D

A CS-80 in mint condition, a little bit pricey and in Germany. But looking
very nice!

Germany....(hmmn....Thorsten?....lol)

I wonder if 150-200 is a fair estimate.
Amazing.
As an aside.....
After these CD's. .In the last 20 years has something
come out using the CS-80 that is memorable?

1)So (Gabriel)
2)Blade Runner(Vangelis) & Chariots Of Fire (Vangelis)
3)Unforgettable Fire (Lanois)

To me an interesting question.....Besides Chris
Martin....
who in using this in popular music today ?

Best, J D

Re: [yamahacs80] a collectors item

2007-02-03 by Wavecomputer360

Buyer beware...

I was offered one last summer from a seller who was also located in "Haagen"
(no idea where this is supposed to be), and this very seller ripped a few
other people off. If the seller of this CS80 turns out to be a certain
Daniel Nielsen (dernielsenhats@...), be careful.

Even though it´s been "overhauled" I think I could expect a full set of
goodies when I´m to pay an annual income on this. No stand, no pedals, no
music rest... not that I´m picky, but...

Stephen

Re: [yamahacs80] a collectors item

2007-02-03 by Wavecomputer360

I do use a CS80 but my music isn´t popular at all ;-). Browse www.bladezone.com for a review of my album, it´s hidden somewhere in the 2005 archiveds (October, I think).

Otherwise, please feel free to check my website www.parsick.com ;-).

Germany....(hmmn....Thorsten?....lol)

I wonder if 150-200 is a fair estimate.
Amazing.
As an aside.....
After these CD's. .In the last 20 years has something
come out using the CS-80 that is memorable?

1)So (Gabriel)
2)Blade Runner(Vangelis) & Chariots Of Fire (Vangelis)
3)Unforgettable Fire (Lanois)

To me an interesting question.....Besides Chris
Martin....
who in using this in popular music today ?

Best, J D

One of the tunes from my latest CD features my CS-50 and was added to
Echoes this week (so might be considered a little popular). The CD is
by Sensitive Chaos, is called Leak, and the song is Android Cat Dreams
Of Mice:
