Heh, I'd be happy even if anybody including M-Audio would try the velocity-waveform that was implemented into the 80 , it really gives feeling to the playing... As for the pitch control, David, you like Clavia's pitch stick? I always found that uncomfortable , surely less comfortable than a ribbon. In any case, there's a guy in Italy that produces ribbons with auto center-cs80 feature, and those can respond to aftertouch too; if you want to, look for at www.sknote.it , its price is around 170 Euros.. Sorry for the occasional spam ;-) M ----- Original Message ----- From: David Rogoff To: yamahacs80@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, August 27, 2006 2:15 AM Subject: Polly after-touch - Re: [yamahacs80] CS-80 for sale in CT Laurie, that's a great idea. Unfortunately, I don't give it much of a chance, but it's certainly worth trying since we have an "inside" via Christian. I tried contacting Edirol/Roland and M-audio a while back but didn't get anywhere. If Clavia would make a version of the Nord Modular with poly aftertouch (and their pitch stick) I'd be in heaven...
