I would keep an eye out for an YC45D - they use the same ribbon and sell for under $200 often.

I have a kent spong replacement ribbon i'm about to put in a CS80, however, the felt is ALSO fairly worn. has anyone replaced the felt portion of a ribbon controller? kent himself suggested mohair from a fabric shop. thanks for any ideas-RJ
