I hope everyone had a great summer!
just a singular thought here...............
I would find it really helpful and practical for the group to
provide insight to some quality people, perhaps even worldwide,
that they've encountered who can fix or service the CS-80.
A reference list...based on first hand experience....
might be a great resource.If there is one available already...
then please by all means let me know. meanwhile...

Not quite. Take a look at the big white chips here:

One is the custom Yamaha keyboard scanner and the other is the custom
Yamaha DAC (digital/analog converter). However, if you've just got
tracking issues I doubt these chip are bad.
