Pressing the two "wah" buttons kills CS-80?

I heard the rumor that if you press the two "wah" buttons (the two 
square grey once) simultaneous you blow the whole CS-80.
Could anyone of you confirm this rumor because I found no clue 
regarding this in the manual.
