Honestly, there is a value in "Parts" from a CS-60 to revive a CS-80. However, I believe that any synth that is utilized as parts for another, should in itself be either non-working or too many repair issues. Having worked, played and repaired both, it really depends on which instrument you want to survive (CS-80 of course). That is the unfortunate issue with designs that are old, have obsolete parts etc. In closing, a fully working Minty CS-60 should remain as such, but one that is somewhat broken may give life to the Mothership :) I guess my main issue/grunt with this thread is only that the latest member of this group only joined to sell or destroy a wonderful instrument without heart.
