Hey David,

you can log on to ebay, contact them about the item and paste the old
item number. All they will do is remove the scam offer. They will not
take any action against the person doing the fake sale, which is
frustrating.

There was another CS80 in the fall on ebay and all over the place on
other lists which obviously was scam and I contacted them. They will
always put the privacy rights of a fake seller over that of a buyer,
unless a transaction happens within ebay. But the way these sellers
work is that they will offer a potential buyer to buy it outside of
ebay. After money has passed nothing will happen and ebay will not
help the buyer.

So it's better than nothing if you contact ebay and we can prevent an
eager buyer from making a big mistake.
