The problem is that, when you keep it powered up for an extended period of time, the preset selector lights will melt the translucent plastic caps (String 1 and 2 are especially prone for that). A friend of mine once bought a CS80 from Angelo Branduardi“s keyboard player who had done exactly this, and the first column of preset selectors was not only completely bleached but also slightly melted.
