Yamaha CS80

Hi Everyone,

I was lucky enough to recently acquire both a CS-50 and a CS-80.  I am glad to find that this group exists for CS users.

The LPF frequency slider on the CS-50 is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.  Does anyone know where I can get one of these?  Looking inside the unit I can see it will be easy to replace if I can find a part that will work.  Any recommendations?  Are the voice sliders the same for the entire 50/60/80 series?

Also the main output on the CS-50 is noisy but the headphone output is clean.  Any ideas?

Looking forward to getting familiar with all of you on this group.  I will try to compose a track with just the CS synths before too long and post it.

Also, can any of you post some comments about differences in sound quality between the CS-50 and CS-60?  Other than more voices and the ribbon controller, are they the same sonically?  Just curious.
