I have put my CS-80 on the bench for a re-furb, new CMOS, decoupling etc, but first I wanted to make sure that the power supply is good, so I have re-capped it, replaced the op- amps and heatsink compound. before I run it up unloaded with the sense lines jumpered I thought that I might ask if anyone else has any comment to make on the PSU with regards reliability, adding any extra clamping or protection, or other things that might be prone to failure.
