So how much overlap in the capability to generate basic sounds is there between the GX-1 and CS-80? Not counting any obviously lacking features they didn't port from former to latter. I haven't been able to get those Village Ghettoland strings programmed yet. The string presets and global controls sure don't get you there. I would assume the CS-80 should be able to do that sound spot on - any advice? Disclaimer: I know it's considered lame to ask how to program X patch on Y pop hit. Perhaps it'd be useful to have a section of templates people could post of some cool sounds, in addition to posting sound samples?
