Updating the OS in a 1.0 xpander

2008-04-04 by arpaholic

HI I was wondering if anyone has updated 1.0 xpander to the latest OS.
IN the 1.0 version vca is missing from the tune page. I think there
are some hardward mods that have to be done to the voice board to do
the OS update. Any help would be appreicated.. thanks analoguejeff

You'll just need to replace old EPROM chips with new ones.

You can hear the sound, but it quite low lever. No problems there at least in case of the
EPROMs written using the data copied form Klaus Ploch's Xpander. I for example have two
copies in use and Steeve has a third one.

Cheers,
Tiitu.
