memorymoog

2011-03-29 by JP Szarak

hello all,

can anyone advise me with controlling my memorymoog plus with my roland ax-7 via midi? i gave it a try and it didn't work. what needs to be done for the 2 instruments to communicate via midi? the manual for the memormoog says nothing about midi. it is not a lamm model by the way.

with thanks,

jp

Hi JP,
The stockk MM sends MIDI on OMNI.
You need to use a MIDI filter between the MM and the AX7 or upgrade the MM.
There is of course the LAMM, but there is also a simpler update
that just includes the roms and a couple jumper wires.
It was made by DBM in the late 80's. Fred McNiff used to sell them.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
