Hello,
Tact (for tactile) switches are a common inexpensive part that has many variations. Measure the length of the shaft between where the button contacts the switch, the amount the movement of the shaft before the switch makes an electrical connection, the type of mounting (horizontal or vertical), and the spacing of the mounting pins. Then find some cheap switch at Digikey or Mouser or some other supplier that will fit. Shorten the shaft with a Dremel tool if a suitable replacement is too long. Clip off or bend mounting leads if they don't fit into the original PCB mounting holes.
Think of your 1970s electronic guitar effector more in terms of being like Cuban cars, those 1950s models that are kept running with gum and duct tape, instead of rare antiques that must have true original replacement
parts to maintain its integrity in order to retain its value. It's only a plastic box of cheap ICs and resistors, not Jimi Hendrix's 'Purple Haze' Stratocaster guitar.
