Yamaha CS-60 voice board,

Yamaha CS-60 voice board,

2002-02-14 by Fin

Hi all.
I have one faulty voice card in a CS-60.
The sawtooth waveform is not present at the output, the pulse wave is.
I know that the Yamaha chip producing both the waveforms is fine.

Does anybody have a scan for the schematics of the CS-60 voice cards?

Regards,
Fin

Hm, never knew this group existed til now. In any case:

The CS-50/60/80 'M' (master) voice boards are nearly identical
among the 3 instruments. If you look at:

You can see the two FET switches that gate the saw and pulse
waveforms to the filters. My bet is the saw switch-FET died, or its
control transistor died.
