Electronic resources

For those that are searching for parts and/or information, here is a
collection of internet resources. I have not had business dealings
with all of these companies, so I can not tell you if their service is
good, acceptable, or to stay away from them. When I'm looking for a
part that is pricy, I check all of them. Good deals are sometimes
found in strange places! Also, at the bottom of the list is a very
good resource for finding data on parts, be sure to check it out.

Search multiple mainline distributors (VERY handy! Includes Allied,
Digi-Key, Mouser, Jameco, JDR, and Newark). You can look for parts
other then IC's if you have a manufacturers part number. I have used
this to find the best prices on the Bournes pots used by MOTM.:

Find Diode, Transistor, IC, and ... Data sheets, including many old
and obsolete parts! This is one of the most useful sites I've found
if you need or want data on a part:

They were okay until they started "branding" their data with a page each
saying where it'd been downloaded from, which really irritates the crap
outta me...!

An alternative, that also includes _tubes_ as well as the above, can be
found here:

And yeah, that's mine. :-) It also includes a lot of stuff that the above
site didn't include, as I pulled from many different sources to put this
together. No updates for a while, lack of connectivity will do that to you,
but I'll get back to working on that once I bring my LAN up again.
