4558DV Cross reference

2006-06-28 by pcbye111

Greetings:

Can anybody give me a cross reference for a "4558DV" I am pretty sure
it is an Op Amp. It is used in a Yamaha ML7A Mic Mixer.

It is a tough one to find.

There are also some transistors that I am having difficulty finding a
cross reference for if anybody has one, plese let me know.

C1815	Transistor
A1015	Transistor
A970	Transistor
C2240	Transistor
4558DV	Op Amp

I'm surprised at that, because this is really a pretty common part. Have a
look here:

http://digchip.com/datasheets/search.php?pn=4558&pn_placement=contains

and see what they list, some of the numbers (like the "1N4558") obviously
don't apply, or the ones with a "1" before the number, which refer to a
different part, but that still leaves a lot of numbers.

The site also has a cross-reference function, though you need to register to
get at it. I also probably have some of these parts, C1815 is a 2SC1815 and
I have 54 of them on hand. A1015 is a 2SA1015, and I have 11. I don't seem
to have any 2SA970 on hand at the moment, though, or 2SC2240.

You can also find datasheets for all of these on my parts pages at:

http://www.classiccmp.org/rtellason/parts-index.html

and I just looked, _all_ of those numbers are in there. Feel free to contact
me offlist if you want any of the parts I have here.

Yes, it's an opamp, just an ordinary RC4558 it seems.
It's not the best out there, so you could get an OPA2134 instead.

As for the transistors, the best is to look at the specs to find a
suitable replacement if the original can't be found.
You're looking for 2SC1815, 2SA1015, 2SA970, 2SC2240.

Hello:Usually the numbers on the transistors need the prefix "2S" in front
of them to be complete, so here is what I think you should be looking for:

2SC1815	Transistor
2SA1015	Transistor
2SA970	Transistor
2SC2240	Transistor
