Vintage Synth Repair

I got a JP8 and I have a couple questions:

I have the opposite problem from Michael and his Arp.  My machine is 
european and runs on 220V.  I'm in the US (110v).  Other than using an 
external transformer, can I mod the JP8 into a 110v machine?  

Also, the plastic pitch bend lever snapped off in transit.  Anyone 
know if that part is still available anywhere.  Roland doesn't have 
it.  DO any other Roland synths use the same size bender? Might make 
it easier to source.
