roland s750 and 1084s monitor connection cable?

roland s750 and 1084s monitor connection cable?

2005-07-15 by synth_freak_2000

hello list,
i have a roland s750 sampler connected to my 1084s colour monitor via a
standard rca cable. the video signal comes from the s 750's monochrome
output so the screen is black and white.
i would like to connect my s750 to my 1084s via an RGB cable to see the
screen in colour.
do you know where i can find any info on the pin assignments of the
s750's RGB port and the pin assignments of the RGB port of the 1084s,
so i can make the cable myself? does anyone sells such a cable?
thank you in advance,
bakis.

Hi Bakis,

The info is in the user manual. You can download it here:

http://www.rolandus.com/support/product_manual.asp?Letter=S

(10MB)

It's on p274.

You'll probably need to have a cable made up or make it yourself. I
need to do this for my S770.

Best regards

Chris
