ARP Odyssey problems...

2005-02-20 by atarixegs

I found a cheap ARP Odyssey on eBay, and the seller say that it
powers up, but makes no sound. What's wrong?

Hello

You have asked recently:

and also

You need to provide a *lot* more info for any sort of salient response. You
clearly aren't able to ascertain from the seller the appropriate level of
detail and unless you are a competent electronics enthusiast (and I suspect
you aren't, judging by the style of your questions), you ought to leave well
alone and buy something working.

Your questions are somewhat akin to saying "someone's offered to sell me a
car but he says it doesn't work.,Any ideas what is wrong with it?" - a
stupid question, I think you will agree!

I'm sorry, but that's all the seller said. It's not my problem.
Besides, I know about electronics and I can fix it myself if I knew
what's wrong. Getting one working would cost me about $700, which I
don't have.

If you know about electronics you don't need us to tell you what is wrong -
go figure it out for yourself!

And it is really rude not sign your postings!

Regards

Brian
