Unique DBM manual please!

Unique DBM manual please!

2004-06-15 by Chris Strellis

************* A plea for help! ******************

Dear Forum Members,

I know it's tiring to read of yet another forum member looking for a
manual of a keyboard he bought on eBay but I'll have to add to the
statistics!

I'm looking for the manual *in any form* for my Unique DBM Master
Keyboard.

This keyboard was reviewed in the December 1986 edition of Keyboard
magazine and has 72 semi-weighted keys,

with velocity and after touch, and a built in 4 track sequencer. It
is an excellent master keyboard but

despite the extensive labelling of parameters on the keyboard itself
I can't get the best out of it. I'm

usually good with working things out without the manual but this one
is defeating me!

You may know that Unique were rebranded/tweaked Crumar items.
Therefore the Crumar Master Keyboard may be

the same. There was a small preview of the Crumar version of it in
the excellent Keyfax 2 book by Julian

Colbeck who rated it.

I've made extensive internet searches but generally I can't find much
information on this keyboard though.

I've contacted the usual manual people like Mark Glinsky, Dick
Michaels of Rogue Music NYC and Bill

Greenhill but they can't help me.

Please can some one point me in the right direction. I would be
extremely grateful.

I'm based in the UK and have a PayPal account!

Best regards and thanks in advance

Chris
