if it is a metal issue, try some strong vinegar on a rag---preferably 
[industrial-strength] concentrate and only on the green sections.  
Afterwards, use a clear lacquer to protect the metal. hope this helps,

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
