You should have at least a cheap Radio Shack meter if you are doing any repair. Disconnect the pot and measure the resistance between the two end pins. Ignore the middle one. Now you know the resistance and can order or buy one of a matching physical size. Actually, you want to know the taper, too, but it is probably linear. To check the taper measure from one end to the center pin while turning the shaft. If it varies linearly it's linear. If it speeds up dramatically, it's expo, AKA Log taper, which is standard for volume pots but not usually used elsewhere. Distributors like Digikey, MCM Electronics or Mouser would be logical starting points. Eirikur
