I have a real cs-5, so I wondered what the va version was like.. The answer is it's great, but where's the connection with the real analog machine? Analog monosynth vs digital polyphonic.. Chalk, cheese.. I'll stick with my microkorg. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We definitely have 2 schools of thought on this issue. One group appreciates the convenience of the modeling units and software instruments. But like you, I belong to the other side for the originality and versatility, as well as the visual appeal which seems to be very underrated to me. I'm not getting rid of my YC-30 for one of these new upstarts. It seems to me that the originals must be something really special if so many companies go to all this trouble to imitate them.
