Roland JX-8P DCO2 waveform switching problem
I have a problem with waveform switching on DCO2 on my Roland JX-8P.
Comparing the waveforms produced by DCO1 and DCO2:
1. saw waveform on both is OK, same level,
2. pulse waveform on DCO2 is weaker, a little bit lower level than on DCO1,
3. square waveform on DCO2 is more similar to saw or pulse, not similar to square on DCO1,
4. noise on DCO2 is similar to pulse + low level noise, not similar to noise on DCO1 as it should be,
I have tested in diagnostic mode. It is the same for all 6 modules.
We have replaced all IC61 on all 6 sound modules as pointed here on the forum. One time the DCO2 waveform switching worked, however most of the time is not.
It might be a broken IC34 (8155) or maybe IC45 (4051) or IC53? I've heard that the 4051 IC's are sometimes the culprit but I have no idea.
