RE: [vintagesynthrepair] Penfold modular

Thanks John,

I do have the schematics etc. I've actually redone the pcb layouts to make them more accurate and readable.

It's mainly diagnostics and troubleshooting that I'm lacking in. This is where it would be handy to find somebody who may have already worked through some of the problems.

I think I may have a copy of that around somewhere, I will have to try and dig it out, if I remember correctly there was also one on Midi projects as well.

Many thanks

Hey guys,

Many years back, I played around with the Penfold modular book. I
built a bunch of circuits, and it worked ok. Not great, but it was a
fun project.

I've recently dug it out of storage, and would like to do a bit of
troubleshooting and repair.

I'm wondering if anyone here has poked at this diy design, and if so,
maybe I can do some brain picking?

I apologize if this is wrong forum for homebuilt stuff, but I just
tried to join the synthesizerscom group, and was denied. Possibly
because I own a commercial studio? Not sure.

Thanks,

Jim
