There was a guy on Maui(music store in Kahului) and another on Oahu. Try this first, on power up hit exit, cursor to diagnostics, then enter run all and move cursor to sound ram. press enter and wait as it is pretty slow. You might got to Kurzweil.com, support knowledge base and read the doc on simms. Are they 5v or 3.3 volt? Is the 5v/3.3v voltage jumper in the right place for what you bought? Also there is 3 slots for simms one is for PRAM and the other two for dram or edo(the sound rams0. Putting the wrong one in the wrong slot causes issues. They are clearly labeled and there should be a blank in the PRAM slot unless it has been upgraded with a PRAM simm. Service on the Islands has always been weak. >________________________________ > From: kekaha_heather <heather_boyle1949@...> >To: vintagesynthrepair@yahoogroups.com >Sent: Sunday, December 16, 2012 8:12 PM >Subject: [vintagesynthrepair] K2600 cannot see expansion memory > > > >All - > >I have a K2600x which has all the latest updates.
