an all file is the best sysex when sending to an m1 as it will send all program and combi and sequencer data
the combis need to have the corect patches installed for them to work so maybe your sending the wrong combi to the patches programs you sent
as the set of combi,s are always with their programs used

Subject: [vintagesynthrepair] Korg M1 - reloading patches question...

Hi folks,

I was recently given an old Korg M1. It had a dead battery and a few other issues, all now sorted.

I managed to download some .SYX files of the factory Progammes, Combis, Sequencer etc...

I have managed to get the Programmes loaded (using "DumpIt" on my old Atari ST) but the problem is that the Combi's will not load for some reason...!

Could there be any reason why Progs load but Combi's don't? Am I missing something?

Cheers,
TOM
