Vintage Synth Repair

Hi everyone,

I managed to get the key changed on this Roland A-80, but now I fnd that hooked up to another Midi device, it doesn't 'control' like the controller it is supposed to be. It's like no Midi is coming out.

Ha! I should have check this before diving in to fixing a broken key.
You live and learn...

Anyway, anyone have any ideas where I should look first, please?
