The noise generator resides on board A-II; I've found that often the first opamp has failed. This is Z5 which can be replaced by a LM301. Since both white and pink noise don't work it's either this one or even before that. I presonally would simply switch Z5 because I've seen several Odysseys where Z5 went bad.
