Thanks! Following the docs for the DW-8000, I'm seeing 15 VDC off the supply board in my 6000, where the 8000 specs 11 VDC. Other voltages appear to be the same as in the 8000. The story with this thing is that when powered on, it would just show random characters on the display and wouldn't make a sound. I replaced the battery as a matter of course, since it appeared to be original. Now it doesn't display anything when powered on. Is there a reset procedure that needs to be followed when replacing the battery in these? alexandrodeexu wrote: > Hi > I'll see in my 6000 > untill try to look into DW8000 schematics,it seems both 6000 & 8000 has the same basic constructions > > --- In vintagesynthrepair@yahoogroups.com, gnw <atonal@...> wrote: > >> >> Does anybody know what I should expect to see for voltages off the >> transformer and power supply board in one of these?
