>>when you say $700 tops are you talking this one in this condition, or tops as in if it were mint?<< mint. around £500ukp is as high as I'd go. they are nice synths, but when they go wrong, they can be a nightmare. be ready to spend hours on it if you decide to restore. one problem I know of for sure is that the thermistors come unglued from the VCOs & the synth won't stay in tune. some of the curtis chips are a bit difficult to get these days. the arpeggiator combined with the four oscillator is the big selling point, but it can be imitated easily. duncan.
