But now I have an original Wavestation that needs the battery replaced. I actually have the new battery for it, but I'm not sure just where it goes or if it's one of those soldered-in jobbbers. I've had this keyboard open many times but I just want to know what to look for as I don't rememeber ever seeing the battery. Can anyone help me with this? I replaced the battery in my WS A/D a couple of years ago. It was just a matter of opening the case, finding the battery - which was in mounted in a clip-holder on the main board, and removing the old and putting in the replacement. No muss, no fuss. Doing the same in my JL Cooper MSB+ (midi switch box) was a different story, however. It was soldered in. I scrounged an old PC mobo and robbed the battery holder clip to make avoid having to keep soldering new batteries in the future. -- John
