I looked inside and I just saw the raw guts of my K2000: Circuit boards, wires, etc. So what happened to the battery compartment which is supposed to be there to hold the battery? Could or WOULD someone just remove it? Apparently someone tried innocently replacing the batteries not knowoing that the compartment wasn't there, hence the loose AA just sitting in there rolling around.
