Vintage Synth Repair

Hi everyone,

Could someone please explain the calibration legend on the Moog 901a Osc controller's middle knob? I see it has 3 positions... 3-1-2

Is this a rotary pot or a 3 way switch and what do the 3-1-2 positions stand for?
