Hi Mike,
from the description you gave, I would suspect a
FET in the Keyboard control circuit. This circuitry is on the Contour board
which lives behind the Oscillator board.
Looking from the back of the synth, the keyboard
circuitry is on the left hand side of the PCB.

Any guess as to what is wrong?
