Thanks for the tips Scott. My meter is most definitely old-school, but it should do the trick. My fixes so far have mostly been of the mechanical variety - keys, switches, soldering of a battery. Hopefully this can be my first truly 'electronic' fix. :-)

Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend. I'll report back.

Have fun with your clients synths! At least they're not like modern cars - I could clearly tell from my sportscar's computer that the mechanics had taken it for a very throttle heavy and long joy ride.
