All that damage if not a 'beyond economical repair'
just not to come out with 2 wires from the mother board and put the NiCd battery
to the side somewhere in a small safe container.
I usually do this when I see the battery mounted on
mother board of any synth/keyboard when it a re-chargeable one. Used to put it
safe in a 'Kinder Sorpresa' plastic container.. the ones you buy from a candy
store!
I wish I could have helped but sorry do not have
service manual for this.
