sounds very like a defect. my cs-30 does not behave like this (the eg3 should work like you know it from other synths).
i cannot verify your problem with my cs30 right now because i'm on vacation in laos...

Hello group, does anybody know how the Envelope Generator 3 work in a Yamaha CS-30? I'm not sure if it's working properly here. When assigning it to the VCAs, the synth doesn't emit any sound. If I assign it to the VCF I can notice a very little effect moving the decay stage. It seems like it's producing a low voltage.
Any idea or comment will be very apreciated.
