Vintage Synth Repair

Try replacing the CA3082 (QA201) from the control matrices board and the CD4042 (U204, U205) .. the CA3082 is a transistor array that is connected to the leds and the display .. i had a P5 Rev 3.0 and upgraded to Rev 3.3 and had a similar situation with the display number and the leds flicking. I replaced those IC's and the problem resolved.. of course i cleaned some pots that cause more flicking ... also some leds lights more that before.
