Those are specified according to whether they're one or both sides,  the 
number of pins,  and the pin spacing.  For example I have one sitting here 
that's a 44-pin (2 sides),  I think 0.156" pin spacing.  That one in 
particular was *real* common.  Other spacings seem to have been 0.125" and 
0.100",  but I'm sure there were others besides.
