Hey all. I just purchased a 1977 model Moog Micromoog in awesome condition and playability except for two small issues: The pitch ribbon no longer responds (would seem typical) and the first octave E note seems to have a bad key contact because it lays fine when you kinda slam down on the key but I noticed this problem after I opened up the synth to clean all the ivories. Coming from what I've seen, it's a very basic synth inside and a lot of air space. My question is, how easy is it to replace the pitch ribbon material? Kevin from Synthfool has the material for sale but he asked me if I was sure I could manage the repair myself so now I'm a little concerned that it will be more daunting than expected. Any ideas? I do have a service manual... but it doesn't help for logistics. LEt me know if anyone has experiencde with this. Thanks! Mike
