rob cant say much more than check power supply use digital meter for locic
has to have very tight regulation and after that do like most repair centers do today
swap all digitial boards with known good ones until problem is solved

Hi, realize this board is not all that vintage but I need help. Going on for two years or more including a couple of trips to the shop this unit likes to lock up after around three hours. It has other tricks as well such as changing some parameter of the setup or just being silent and no lockup. Once in a while it just gives me a "blue screen" and nothing else. This is the K2000VP and has the 3.87 op system. It has the fan kit added and 64 meg of sample memory. The problems came before the memory expansion as did the fan kit( I hoped it would help). Seems to be getting worse of late and I'm sick of "hard" resets .  Any ideas or perhaps some place I can send it for repair? Thanks!
