I'm the moderator of this group, and as soon as I noticed that a bit of junk had snuck through, I deleted it and banned the account that had sent it. If you're receiving email from the group, there's nothing I can do to undo your receipt of the message. We had a lot of this sort of spam a few months back, and then I changed the group to require my approval of new members. Since that time there's been on occasional post of this nature that sneaks through, maybe once every couple of months or so. I hardly think that's a bad record, considering that it's virtually impossible in this day and age to have a totally spam-free elist. The only other thing I could do is approve every individual message, and that's just not very practical or convenient for any of us. Personally, I think I've done a pretty decent job of maintaining a relatively spam-free group for the last several months, so come on, cut me a little slack, and don't make the signal to noise ratio even poorer by posting pointless comments like this.
