This might sound kind of goofy but... There is a bundle of wires coming from the keyboard assembly that hangs loose near the low C key and the pitch/mod weels. It's possible that it got jammed in the contacts and is preventing the low C key from releasing. Either that or its a simple mechanical problem. Either way, open it up and look around for anything out of place in that area. It doesn't sound like an electrical problem. Good luck.
